Partridge IP Law, P.C. founder, Mark V.B. Partridge, was recently listed as a top trademark lawyer in the 2011 edition of The International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers, part of the 2012 volume of The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers. For fifteen years, Who's Who Legal has identified the foremost legal practitioners in several practice areas of business law.  To be considered for inclusion, each nominee must receive a minimum number of independent nominations from clients and trademark lawyers around the world.
 
On September 21and 22, 2011, Mark spoke in Washington, D.C. at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 2011 Internet Conference, on Uncovering the Possible Dangers and Pitfalls to Using Trademarks As gTLDs and Remaking the UDRP for the Next Decade.
 

October 20 and 21, 2011, Mark was in Washington, D.C. at the AIPLA Annual Meeting. On Thursday, October 20, Mark was the featured speaker at The United States Council for International Business seminar.  His presentation entitled “New gTLDs:  Are You Ready for the Next Big Thing in the Internet?” focused on the significant change to the structure of the Internet and how this change will have a dramatic impact on Internet users, service providers and brand owners in the coming months.  Friday, October 21, Mark moderated a panel on "Understanding and Managing the Launch of new gTLDs."
